A seemingly good start to yesterday as nearly immediately after pushing the button to get across the road of doom to get to the bus stop, the lights went red and a nice green man appeared to help me across :-D This rarely happens - in fact it may have been the first time - and to make it extra awesome, it did the same for Angela! There was a moment when I was not talking to myself because I had left my folder at home. A situation which was entirely the fault of Mark and Pete for walking past my window with about 3 minutes in between and ultimately distracting me, lol.
However last night made it all cyclical as when the hardcore Sugarhouse 4 (Me, Pete, Angela and Mark) went to see Pete and the Pirates (and their support act Buen Chico). It was blooming great :-D Me and Angela slunk right to the front for the support act and gave them a warm Lancashire welcome as they called it. We also managed to be right at the front for PATP too and got our respective grooves on! It also turned us into proper fangirls *pines when they walk past* lol. We gained 20 celebrity points too when, after mildly accosting the band for photos and a wee natter *insanely cheesy grin* they asked us for our photo (because mine and Angela's pirate costumes were brilliant if I say so myself)*our Pete flees without us realising* One of the Pete's also said we could be in the band and that he was glad we dressed up at Pirates. Ergo mine and Angela's slightly obsessive love of dressing up is entirely justified! We also made friends at the front with some gentleman pirates (they had fluffy pirate hats) who were very boppy.
All in all it was a rather fabulous day. x x x
